HMD Global has introduced another budget-friendly Nokia smartphone to the market. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, the Nokia 2.1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition).

As part of the Android One family, the device is expected to stay fresh over time with Google’s latest innovations and regular security updates. It comes with a limited number of pre-installed apps that supposedly give users more storage space.

With a 5.5in display, it has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded to up to 128GB with a microSD card. The phone has an 8-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfie enthusiasts.

While it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, it does sport a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as dual front speakers. The 4,000mAh battery reportedly can last up to two days. Priced at RM415, the phone comes in Blue/Copper and Grey/Silver.

The 3.1 on the other hand has 5.2in HD+ display with an 18:9 screen ratio. It has a 13-megapixel rear sensor as well as an 8-megapixel wide-angle front camera, and is powered by a 2,990mAh battery. It is priced at RM655 and comes in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron.

Those with a bit more cash to spare can look at the 6.1, which has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and supports 4K video recording. It also has the Dual-Sight feature that simultaneously captures feeds from front and rear cameras in a split screen for photos and videos.

With a 5.5in Full HD display, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, and has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory that is expandable to up to 128GB with a microSD card. Priced at RM1,100, it comes in two-toned Blue/Gold.
