Honor launched the Honor X30 Max and X30i smartphones a couple of months ago in its home market China and now the company is gearing up to launch the vanilla model of the lineup, dubbed Honor X30.

The brand has revealed that a new Honor X30 Product Launch Conference will be held on 16th December in China to officially launch the smartphon

Sharing more details, Jiang Hairong, CMO of Honor in China has revealed that December 16th is the same date when the Honor 3X was launched in 2013. Now, in eight years, there have been more than 90 million users for the Honor X-series devices.

It has also been revealed that there are still more than 40,000 users of the Honor 3X and now on the eighth anniversary of the device, the company is all set to launch the Honor X30 smartphone in the Chinese market.

While the company has not revealed anything about this upcoming phone, reports indicate that the device could be the first device to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is an updated version of the existing Snapdragon 690 chip.

The chip, built using the 6nm process, comes with a Kryo 660 CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. It is said to offer 15 percent better CPU performance and 30 percent increased GPU performance. For connectivity, it supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G networks.

The Honor X30 is also expected to have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. The front-facing camera is said to be housed inside a punch-hole cutout on top of the display.

We expect the firm to share details about the upcoming Honor X30 smartphone, including its key specs and features, in the coming days through teaser posters on social media.
