WHY PRINCE HARRY WON’T SIGN A PRENUP — EVEN THOUGH HE’S REPORTEDLY WORTH $25 MILLION

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be taking care of some last-minute wedding preparations ahead of their May 19 nuptials, but there’s one thing they reportedly won’t be wasting their time on: getting a prenup.

According to reports, like Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are foregoing signing a prenuptial agreement. Though really, that could be because signing prenuptial agreements isn’t something the royals normally do.

“I don’t think members of the royal family sign prenuptial agreements,” Katie Nicholl, author of “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love,” told Town & Country. “It’s commonplace with celebrity marriage, but this is not a celebrity marriage, it’s a royal marriage.”

To be fair, the pair may want to think about getting one — after all, they both seem to have sizable savings accounts of their own. The one-time Suits star reportedly made $50,000 an episode while filming, while Prince Harry’s 2018 net worth is estimated to be at least $25 million. However, Even if they did divorce, it’s not like Meghan would really get a piece of Windsor because that belongs to the Queen, not Harry.

Beyond legally protecting his wealth, Harry reportedly would never even consider a prenup. According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, “There was never any question in Harry’s mind that he would sign a prenup. He’s determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there’s no need for him to sign anything.”

Now all that’s left to do is write their vows, pick up the dress, plan the menu, and announce a maid of honor and best man (we’re pulling for you, Prince William).
