INTER MILAN CONSIDERING LOAN MOVE FOR DANIEL STURRIDGE

by editor

Inter Milan are interested in signing Daniel Sturridge during the January transfer window, according to Sky in Italy.

It is understood the Serie A club would favour a loan move and are targeting players who need to play regularly ahead of the World Cup.

The Nerazzurri are also reportedly interested in signing Germany international, Andre Schurrle from Borussia Dortmund.

Sturridge has made just 14 appearances this season for Liverpool scoring three goals.

However, the Reds striker has struggled to establish himself in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up having only started five games during the campaign.

The 28-year-old will be hopeful regular football will help his chances of being selected in England’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.

Other reports have linked Southampton, Newcastle and West Ham with a move for Sturridge.

A move to Inter could see Sturridge play alongside one of Europe’s most in-form strikers, Mauro Iardi who has scored 18 goals in Serie A this season.
